Assistant Information Technology Administrator

Description
Liberty Bank is seeking a resourceful Assistant Information Technology Administrator with installation and desktop support experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Provides support for all IT related activities (applications to infrastructure). Coordinates small to medium size technical projects. Assists Senior Vice President of Information Technology in the design and planning of installations for software and hardware applications. Installs, maintains, and administers hardware, software, and network components. Ensures proper operation of local and virtual servers and peripherals. Provides administration support for local applications and databases. Installs and supports local applications, troubleshoots operation support and automation systems, systems software and hardware applications, and support products. Evaluates and applies software and application updates; ensures backup and recovery capabilities are running efficiently. Performs moves, changes, enhancements, and corrections to office layout for PC's, WinTerms, printers, and other hardware. Provides technical support for workstations and office applications. Suggests improvements to processes and procedures and works with Senior Vice President of Information Technology to implement improvements. Provides technical expertise to Customer Service and Implementation peers throughout the enterprise as well as technical leadership and project management guidance.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

-Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
-At least 3-5 years experience within a total Information Technology (IT) environment.

Just 20 minutes from Santa Cruz, Liberty Bank, a local community Bank has an immediate opening for a full time (40 hrs/week) Teller position at the Boulder Creek Branch.

This position processes customer deposits and withdrawls; receivese and pays cash; performs related administrtative functions and provides outstanding customer service to all who enter the Bank.

Applicants must have excellent customer service skills; oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of computer programs including MIcrosoft Windows, Word & Excel; ability to accurately count cash; good mathematical skills. Prior Bank teller experience is preferred.

Applicants must be able to work Saturdays.

Business Development/Relationship Manager – Job Description:

Business Development and Relationship Manager is responsible for all Business Development, Marketing and Community Relations activity in Palo Alto and on the Peninsula.  The Incumbent conducts all loan activities including but not exclusive to: securing new loans; processing loan renewals; maintaining existing loan portfolio.  Incumbent ensures that applicable bank lending policies and practices are followed.  Incumbent must be current on all regulatory laws.  Relationship Manager must be aware of the
economy and industry trends in order to know whether or not a particular loan will be beneficial for the bank. Ensures excellent customer service while minimizing potential losses and retaining high quality control. Exercise sound judgment in solving customer problems and disputes.  Possess an excellent, working knowledge of
all Liberty Bank loan products, deposit accounts and related bank services and products.

Position’s primary responsibility is expansion of existing customer base and development of customer relationships through cross-selling products and services; and direct business development efforts to acquire new relationships.  Efforts are directed at both the commercial and retail commercial banking market.  Ensure excellent customer service while minimizing potential losses and retaining high quality control.  Effectively communicate Bank policies and procedures; and Federal and State regulations to staff.  Exercise sound judgment in solving customer problems and disputes.  Must possess excellent knowledge of all Bank loan products and services as well as deposit accounts.

Essential Duties:

  • Actively develop new business (both loans and deposits) for Palo Alto and surrounding areas on the Peninsula, and maintain existing banking relationships, making regular business development calls on new or existing Bank customers.  This may require participation in community groups and service organizations.
  • Monitors and maintains portfolio of assigned customer relationships consisting of loans and deposits.  Processes loan applications, obtains credit reports and other verifications as necessary to present to underwriting staff for full analysis, structure and presentation to Chief Credit Officer.
  • Responsible for a broad range of client relationships.  Develops new business independently.
  • Closes the deal and wins relationships from competitors.  Highly skilled financial engineer. Skilled negotiator.
  • Takes a leadership role in the business community. Recruits and interviews staff.
  • Responsible for advertising and marketing for the Palo Alto and surrounding areas.
  • Provide basic loan training for officers and staff in the Palo Alto Branch and South San Francisco Branch.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Complete knowledge of sales, branch banking, commercial & consumer lending; and regulatory compliance requirements for the position.
  • Knowledge of bank products (deposit and loan) and policies relating to these products.
  • Excellent customer service skills; verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintains an extensive network of business contacts, including community leaders and executive management of clients, prospects and referral sources.
  • Ability to organize, plan and practice effective time management.
  • Proficient computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
