Job Description:

Just 20 minutes from Santa Cruz, Liberty Bank, a local Community Bank has an immediate opening for a full time (40 hrs/week) Teller position at the Boulder Creek Branch.

This position processes customer deposits and withdrawals; receives and pays cash; performs related administrative functions and provides outstanding customer service to all who enter the Bank.

Applicants must have excellent customer service skills; oral and written communication skills; working knowledge of computer programs including Microsoft Windows, Word & Excel; ability to accurately count cash; good mathematical skills. Prior Bank teller experience is preferred.

Applicants must be able to work Saturdays.

Full-Time Loan Processing Clerk/Documentation Clerk - South San Francisco, CA

Summary
Assists loan personnel to process and board loan requests. Services established loans and assists loan customers. Provides assistance to the Chief Credit Officer with the preparation of loan portfolio reports.   Provides direct supervision, leadership, guidance and training to the Loan Processing Clerk.  Follow up with    customers   for   ongoing   account   administration   and servicing and documentation. Provides back up support for the Loan Processing Clerk is gone and assists with all loan processing daily work as assigned. This position requires compliance with all Federal and State consumer and business regulations for loans and deposits; and will be held accountable for ensuring that assigned consumer and business compliance training for loan and deposits is successfully completed within assigned deadlines.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned regulatory compliance training within established deadlines.
  • Must comply with all applicable Federal and State regulations; and Bank operations and security procedures to avoid potential losses.
  • Ensure that department staff complete assigned regulatory compliance training within deadlines.
  • Provide written   and verbal communication with outside Title and Escrow companies, Environmental and Flood Agencies as required in support of credit applications.
  • Assist with ongoing account management and customer service such as processing loan disbursements, loan pay downs, obtaining information from customers, boarding loans, transferring funds.
  • Assist with computer input and funding of new/renewed loans.
  • Set up credit files to ensure all documentation is properly filed.
  • Log the   payments of   all impound   from   loan escrow accounts.
  • Input customer information changes.
  • Respond to credit ratings.
  • Process and monitor ICL loan payments and billings.
  • Certification of tax returns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Banking experience required.  Loan experience is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of federal and state lending regulations and laws.
  • Thorough knowledge of Bank loan products.
  • Thorough knowledge of Bank policies and procedures.
  • Strong basic accounting skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
